Open Enrollment

Help Finding Health Coverage

Open Enrollment is the time of year when you can sign up for, renew, or change your health insurance coverage. Having coverage makes it easier to see a doctor when you need one, stay on top of preventive care, and avoid unexpected medical costs. Health insurance can be confusing, and you do not have to figure it out alone. Lifespan Health’s enrollment staff can help you understand your options and get signed up, whether you are getting covered for the first time or renewing your plan. Open Enrollment for [Marketplace / Medicare / TennCare, confirm which apply] runs from [start date] to [end date], so we encourage you to reach out early.

What to Expect

When you meet with our enrollment staff, they will start by learning a little about you and your household, including who needs coverage, your income, and any insurance you currently have. They will explain the coverage options available to you in plain language, help you check whether you qualify for lower costs or financial help, and walk you through the application step by step. If you already have a plan, we can help you review it and renew it before the deadline.

To make your visit go smoothly, please bring a photo ID for each person applying, Social Security numbers or document numbers for eligible household members, and proof of income such as recent pay stubs, tax forms, or a letter from your employer. It also helps to bring information about any health coverage you have now and the dates of birth for everyone in your household. If you are missing something, do not worry. Come in anyway and we will help you figure out what to do next.
