At Lifespan we are committed to:
U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Grant
Lifespan Health receives a grant through HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Healthcare (BPHC) to provide healthcare to individuals whose access to quality healthcare is limited. The current grant extends through December 31, 2008.
Veterans Medical Center in Memphis
Lifespan currently provides primary healthcare services to over 1,000 area veterans under this contract/collaboration with the Memphis VA. In addition to primary healthcare, veterans have access to mental health and nutritional services through telemedicine.
Health Disparities Disease Collaborative
Lifespan is currently participating in the Diabetes collaborative. Over 200 patients are being tracked in a patient registry in order to better identify delivery systems that provide the greatest impact on the disease of diabetes and its long term consequences.
